Mary McGlothlin was 68 years old and widowed when she was enumerated in the 1930 census. Living in the home that she owned with her is her son, daughter in law, and states a daughter but looking at the ages within the household, I would almost assume that this 9 month old child is actually her granddaughter. Mary was born in Texas, her father in Missouri, and her mother in Mississippi. No occupation was listed for her but her son Jessie L McGlothlin, age 28, is a trucker for an oil field. His wife, Bessie M, age 22, was not working either. Jessie was 27 and Bessie was 21 when they married. Ester L, a daughter, was 9 months old. Jessie, Bessie, and Ester were all born in Texas as was all the parents of the three.
